Lonesome Rose

What can I say, I'm a sucker for tacos--especially when my good friend, Ami, is recommending them.

We had a lunch date at Lonesome Rose in Logan Square. While the food was good, it's the experience that really sells it. This place is Instagrammable af and curated down to the bone.

So I find out that there are actually 2 different entrances into the restaurant. One end opens up to your traditional restaurant setting filled with tons of lovely plants & a fresh feel, and the second one opens to a wonderfully long counter where you can dine or grab a drink. Fun fact, I adore sitting at the bar. There's nothing like getting to know the people behind the counter and sitting next to you.  (Yes, I'm that person.)

We grab a seat on the restaurant side & even the utensils are staged. Our waitress brings our sauces & yes, she places them picture perfectly next to the utensils. Coincidence--probably, but you can tell Lonesome Rose takes pride in their presentation.

We order a few tacos & some street corn (our go to at every taco joint), sip our drinks & just enjoy catching up. It's so easy to do here.

Once we got the bill, even that was curated! Attached to an adorable customized postcard, the bill even had the perfect pen to sign with. I mean, come on--how cute?!

If you've made it this far, congratulations! Here's a secret little fact. The Lonesome Rose has a speakeasy, but we'll tell you more about that in another post.
