#22 A New Leaf
I've been living in Chicago long enough that I'm rarely surprised by anything, but A New Leaf was different.
The lovely ladies of ROOM TAILOR invited me along with them to A New Leaf to pick out some finishing touches for their latest Lincoln Park home styling project. As someone without a green thumb, a flower shop is not in my repertoire. While I love them, plants hate me. I've only kept one plant alive in my life, Fred, and I think it's only because he feels bad for me.
Walking into the store...I wish I had a green thumb. Everything about this space is absolutely beautiful. It's like a palace of flowers & greenery. It's also huge! Not only does it have a main floor, but it also has a downstairs, an upstairs & an event space. Needless to say, I was in absolute shock.
Along with all of the vibrant plants & flowers, the store also has candles, planters, vases & arrangement tools.
After we perused the store, we decided to check out the event space. Walking into the space was so powerful. It was such a dreamy & dramatic lofted venue. Absolute swoonage, if you will. As you're walking up the stairs of the venue, you'll find a secret garden & patio area waiting to be filled be guests & music. It's just magical.
A New Leaf is located at 1818 N Wells in Chicago's Old Town neighborhood.
