Lincoln Park Living

Lincoln Park is one of Chicago’s most iconic and coveted neighborhoods. A true crossroads of tastes, everyone from a dive bar loving sports fan to a Michelin Star foodie enjoys Lincoln Park’s many establishments. Locals also enjoy the shopping which features local boutiques as well as upscale national retailers like CB2 or Nordstrom Rack.

Seamlessly blended with the neighborhood’s convenience is the charm. Lincoln Park is home to DePaul University (founded in 1828), the Lincoln Park Zoo (one of the country’s oldest zoos, established in 1868), and a few architecturally defining churches.

The Area

Public Transportation: Chicago’s busiest route, the Red Line is great for getting around to the north & south sides of Chicago & for getting into the Loop. A fan favorite, the Brown Line runs throughout the Northwest Side, starting in Albany Park into the Loop. Beginning all the way in Chicago’s North Shore suburb, Wilmette, the Purple Line passes through Evanston and into Chicago's North Side, while also extending even further south into the Loop during weekday rush hours.

Highway Access: Depending on which side of Lincoln Park you live in, getting to the highway can be a pain, but it’s nothing most couldn’t manage.

Other Perks: Close to the Lake & Lake Shore Drive
